The learning experience of a lifetime is taking place in Australia's heartland - Alice Springs - in 2007

You owe it to yourself to travel to the centre at this magical time of year - perfect weather, magnificent scenery, great people - and participate in the cultural learning experience of a lifetime.

Your unique learning experience will begin with a very special ceremony, conducted by the traditional owners of the area, on Sunday 8th July.  This ceremony is designed both to welcome you to Alice Springs and to provide you with an opportunity to meet with the Lhere Artepe people, to hear their stories, engage with their culture and to visit sites that are sacred to men's and women's groups.

Two conferences will be conducted during the week:  the 3rd Cultural Collaborations Forum and the 9th Indigenous Researchers Conference - giving participants an in-depth experience in cultural diversity:  how we deal with it in our workplace environments and how we might use it to improve our own sense of well-being.  People interested in attending both events, for their culturally empowering connections, will be able to economise through only have to cover one return fare and through special deals for attendance at both conferences.
