The Forum Dinner and Other Activities for our Delegates
A main objective of the Forum is to ensure that delegates have ample opportunity to be engaged, to share, to network and connect. On both days of the Forum delegates will enjoy tea/coffee breaks, lunch, and evening chats.
For delegates who are in Alice Springs on Sunday July 8, you will be invited to attend a Welcome Ceremony conducted by the Lhere Artepe Aboriginal Corporation on behalf of the traditional owners and custodians of Central Arrernte Country.
We also invite all Delegates to enjoy the Forum Dinner, featuring Fiona O'Loughlin
Fiona is a mother of five based in Alice Springs and for the past ten years has worked as a Stand Up comedian, columnist, written and presented for ABC Radio, performed many television comedy spots (including spectacularly successful guest spots on ABC TV's "Spicks and Specks"), produced her own shows in Australian and UK Comedy Festivals and grabbed acclaim at Montreal's invitation only "Just For Laughs" Comedy Festival.

The Forum Dinner is from 7.30pm to 10.00pm Monday July 9
Delegates will also be provided suggestions for other activities - trips and tours - that they can do whilst in Alice Springs, especially for those delegates who will be in town for the week to attend both Forums (including the 9th Indigenous Researchers' Forum, which will commence at 1.00pm on Wednesday July 11, providing delegates with a free morning on the Wednesday between the two events).
